Elf “haul” (?)
I went a little bit crazy on an Elf sale on the studio line. I don’t what happened in my brain, but I think I bought 10 eye make up things, knowing fully that I never wear make up on my eyes and that half the time I’m allergic to Elf eye products. Miss Smarty Pants they call me.
But hey, I got obsessed for a minute, with that in mind :
aka the classic Olsen-y copper smokey, I decided to really go there. I looked a bit everywhere to get some swatches, I wish they were more, so here are the ones I did, for those of you who might find that helpful.
The Golden Goddess is amazing packed on top of a primer or a cream eyeshadow (the Natural Glow one for example), the Baked Brown is not that pretty, it needs something on top of it, a layer of Bark, the Baked Eyeshadow does the trick.
These are so subtle that some of you might find them disappointing, wich I get, but for that little crease action, they’re just perfect, shadow-like, the Burnt Brown especially, a greyish brown with a hint of purple in.

Dried in a day. Pretty smudged with a hard concealer brush. Got asked for my number twice while wearing it. I’m not a fan, but apparently, it works on ma face.
Very good surprise, the great winners of this “haul-like-thing-y”. Amazing as bases, super smooth, pigmented, creamy, no creasing… I mean…
Dawn was not supposed to be my cup of tea but it looks gorge on, not too sparkly, shades of brown in it… Goes amazingly with the Burnt brown.
Very subtle hint of color, the effect is actually pretty when on, and it’s a good quick saver, for colors that are in your make up drawer, but don’t get the use they could. A layer of that changes a color for the better. No glitter, just a shimmer.
Nice product, the texture is undetectable on the cheeks, matte and easy to use with the Elf mini Stippling brush. I added the website pics to make sure you saw the difference with the real life, day light pics. A world of difference that disappointed me at first. Heartbreaker is really pink, not coral at all.

Summer looks : Berlin calling
What are you doing this summer?
Personally I already know that there will be no beautiful beaches, lime coconut cocktails by a tiki bar, well…No proper “holidays”.
I’m left imagining what I would wear, if I could manage hopping in a car and just going european.
Berlin is always very cool and relaxed. It’s going from gig to gig, from bar to bar, from squat to squat. Walking a great deal, skating a bit (posing mostly), and hanging out with my friends, who are Berliners at heart themselves.
The theme is cool, streamlined, with a bit of a rocknroll edge.
